Ebola vaccine doses allocated during Bundibugyo outbreak response
WHO and Africa CDC announced an initial allocation of 70,000 Ervebo doses to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Importantly, WHO says it is not yet known whether Ervebo protects humans against Bundibugyo virus; 20,000 doses were allocated to a Phase 3 trial and 50,000 for frontline and health workers under current recommendations.
